In a press conference here, in Islamabad press club, Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Khan said that, “Jammu Kashmir Peoples Party rejects the election results.” He said, “In 1975 The Government of Pakistan carried out the most despicable acts of rigging for which Pakistan Peoples Party paid off with the life of Z.A. Bhutto. However, these elections are by far the worst elections in the history of Kashmir.”
He said that, "When our party lost the 2001 elections, we accepted the election results the very next day through a press conference."
Sardar Khalid Ibrahim Khan said that,"In 2006 elections, I was winning from both seats of the Poonch, but those elections were also affected by the rigging. So in response to that I decided not to take oath as a parliamentarian, but after sometime when I took the oath, I resigned from the Legislative assembly. It was clear to me that the parliamentarians were not sincere which became clear to all when 4 prime ministers were changed in Kashmir's legislative assembly."
He further stated that, "We reject these election results and will protest on the 4th of July along with with our allies, Pakistan Muslim League - N (AJK)."
He said, "The responsibility of rigging entirely lies upon Asif Ali Zardari and Minister of Kashmir Affairs. This whole plot was developed in the Presidential house, therefore, we reject these manipulated results."
